Comments / notes : Similar to C. buchananiana but stems, leaves and sepals very densely brown tomentose; sepals broader, 8-llmm broad.
Key identification features : Branches purplish, densely tomentose. Leaflets ovate- cordate, tomentose, deeply 5-lobed. Flowers in axillary or terminal panicles, pale white, tomentose without. Achenes ovate, velvety.
