Key identification features : Small trees, young branchlets tomentose. Leaves ovate-elliptic, brownish tomentose beneath. Flowers pendulous, 12-15 cm across, white or cream coloured, fragrant. Fruiting receptacles 3-5 .5 cm long, elliptic-ovoid, beaked.
