Key identification features : Fleshy herbs up to 15 cm tall; rootstocks slender, scaly. Leaves pinnatisect; leaflets ovate. Flowers in dichasium, actinomorphic, without spur, white; sepals pelaloid. Follicles 2, cylindrical, connate at base.
