Key identification features : Perennial herbs; upper leaves sessile, subclasping at base, shortly decurrent on stems; capitula solitary or 3 or 4 crowded at ends of stems and branches; phyllaries longer than disk florets; ray florets longer than disk florets, lamina bluish, exceeding style.
