  • Key identification features : Undershrub. Leaves alternate, sub-opposite or whorled, often crowded at the ends of the branches, glabrous; petiole up to 5 cm long. Flowers in axillary fascicles, rose-purple or violet. Sepals ovate; lip boat-shaped, acuminate; spur incurved, greenish; wings 2-lobed, basal lobe smaller then the distal. Capsule ellipsoid, turgid.
